Create prototyping for new APR mobile and consumer products.
|
| Responsibilities & Qualifications: |
Responsible for designing, creating, prototyping, and modifying Acoustic and other touch solutions. Establish requirements, maintain schedule, and bring new products to realization in a structured Design Review environment. Work with other engineers regarding accuracy, design, fitness for use, drafting standards, and ECO/ECR documentation. Commercialize products, and help bring new products to market. Write reports, and present results. Cooperate on team projects and participate in design reviews. - Communicate, and inform team members and other engineers.
- Must be self-motivated, and able to product measurable results.
Comprehensive design and development skills. Mechanical design experience of products used in mfg. environment. Practical experience in developing products using Quality tools such including DFSS, FMEA, DFT, Lean Design, and TQM. Demonstrated success in bringing new products to market on time and on budget. Familiar with leading CAD packages including Pro-E and AutoCad. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experienced at working within an ECR/ECO and ERP structure. Minimum of 5 years drafting and design experience, including 2 years experience with design concepts. Proven electrical aptitude and some mechanical knowledge. Able to understand and work with all engineering disciplines including electrical, software, and hardware. Must be self-motivated and have a team player attitude. Six-Sigma experience a plus.
