Support Interconnection/Harnessing Components Product Engineering in all engineering functions, especially those related to engineering evaluation of product for development and sustaining engineering.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Provide technical assistance to product engineers with their product development projects.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical tests upon a wide range of products.
• Record and present data for analysis for further consideration, conclusions and observations
• Assist in the design and maintenance of experimental equipment and scheduling of tests.
• Design test fixtures and other experimental setups to perform requested tests
• Maintain laboratory equipment and area in good working order and safe work environment.

Requirements:

An excellent team player with the following education or experience:

• Minimum of Associate degree with engineering emphasis.  A high school graduate with minimum of 5 years of related experience may apply.
• Familiarity with technical product testing procedures
• Ability to generate reliable and repeatable data is a must.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experienced in accurate measurements, data recording
• Familiarity with commonly used test equipment – digital voltmeter, oven, thermal chambers, oscilloscope, insulation resistance, digital thermometer, etc.
• Familiarity in word processing, spreadsheet applications and other Microsoft Office suite tools.
