| Overview: |
Support Interconnection/Harnessing Components Product Engineering in all engineering functions, especially those related to engineering evaluation of product for development and sustaining engineering.
|
| Responsibilities & Qualifications: |
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Provide technical assistance to product engineers with their product development projects.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical tests upon a wide range of products.
- Record and present data for analysis for further consideration, conclusions and observations
- Assist in the design and maintenance of experimental equipment and scheduling of tests.
- Design test fixtures and other experimental setups to perform requested tests
- Maintain laboratory equipment and area in good working order and safe work environment.
Requirements: An excellent team player with the following education or experience: - Minimum of Associate degree with engineering emphasis. A high school graduate with minimum of 5 years of related experience may apply.
- Familiarity with technical product testing procedures
- Ability to generate reliable and repeatable data is a must.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced in accurate measurements, data recording
- Familiarity with commonly used test equipment – digital voltmeter, oven, thermal chambers, oscilloscope, insulation resistance, digital thermometer, etc.
- Familiarity in word processing, spreadsheet applications and other Microsoft Office suite tools.
