Overview:

Tyco Electronics' Aerospace Defense & Marine Division is uniquely qualified to provide innovative solutions for a variety of applications from ruggedized interconnects, fiber optic products, and sealed harness assemblies to high-performance relays and power distribution units.

 

The Aerospace, Defense & Marine Division is seeking an Accountant who will participate in project work to include, but not limited to, preparing and consolidating fiscal year budgets and forecasts, along with analyzing functional expense categories within the A,D&M Business Unit.

 

Primary Duties:

 

  1. Consolidate Global accounting results and statistical information via Hyperion and provide A,D&M Leadership with results of the consolidation.
  2. Participate in Internal Controls through managing the chart of accounts, approval authorization limits, and physical inventory audits at our manufacturing operations.
  3. Provide expense related data for functional organization decision making.
  4. Participate in a number of projects concerning fiscal year budget planning.
  5. Accounting tasks will include, but not be limited to:
  • Accrual accounting
  • Account reconciliations
  • Centralized data distribution
  • Rebate accounting
  • Royalty accounting
  • Corporate allocation accounting and analysis
  • General & Administrative expense tracking and analysis.

 

 

 



Responsibilities & Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA Certification (or working towards) preferred but not mandatory
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • SAP and Hyperion knowledge a plus
