| Overview: |
- Investigate, provide formal responses and follow up on customer complaints.
- Authorize RMA’s, track processing of material and report on the number of defectives.
- Pull raw metric data to be populated in the corporate database.
- Provide PPAP packages as requested by customers.
- Manage hold material to keep it minimized and meet business unit goals.
- Provide continuous improvement activities to meet Quality metric goals.
- Review Nonconforming Material Reports to ensure the actions are preventive.
- Be a resource for design of experiments (DOE) and capability studies.
- Support Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering as required.
- Create Quality Inspection Plans.
- Work to affect Cost of Quality improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance to ISO9001.
- Work on the development of and execution of statistical process control.

| Responsibilities & Qualifications: |
- BS in related Engineering Discipline.
- Previous demonstrated success in dealing with customer quality issues.
- Demonstrated ability to identify root cause, drive improvement actions and resolve problems.
- Experience in product test development and laboratory analysis to support root cause analysis and conclusions.
- Experience in Product Engineering or in core manufacturing competencies such as Stamping, Plating, Molding and Assembly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with other cultures.
- Formal Six-sigma training and experience, a background in statistics, and proficiency in Mini-Tab is highly desirable.
