This position will be responsible for developing product strategies for Netconnect structured cabling and connectivity solutions. This individual will have a close working relationship with customers, sales, marketing and engineering to define and determine customer and market requirements for structured cabling and connectivity solutions. Other responsibilities will include recommending strategies and advising management of market place trends and evaluating functional requirements of new products. This person will work with engineering community to ensure product compliance with design objectives from manufacturability, and support internal and external customers through the product life cycle and participate in the TE PACE process for product evaluation, feasibility, design, forecasting and market introduction. Roles and Responsibilities include: *Establish and maintain product line strategy *Responsible for Profitability of assigned product lines *Drive sales growth strategy *Create and update product datasheets *Assist in communicating product line strategies *Develop and maintain pricing strategies *Interface with customer on product specific issues *Be knowledgeable of customer base *Be knowledgeable of primary industries *Be knowledgeable of competitive products and strategies *Develop product sales strategy in concert with account managers *Identify new product opportunities *Work closely with product engineering on product extension *Work closely with development engineering on new product design *Support the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process *Maintain volume and revenue forecast for assigned product lines
