| Overview: |
Primary duty will be the design and development of cost effective, new products within the Lighting industry. Candidate will be responsible for contributing to the growth of new product sales via innovative new solid state lighting components and systems. This position will involve interfacing with simultaneous engineering teams, including manufacturing, industry marketing, product management, new business development management, designers, test lab, standards departments, and direct communication with customers.

| Responsibilities & Qualifications: |
BSME or BSEE required; solid modeling experience desirable, Pro/Engineer CAD preferred. Minimum 4 years experience in the design of lighting products with an emphasis on solid state LED products. Experience in interpreting applicable agency standards (i.e. UL/CSA/NEC/ANSI/etc) and then developing new product designs that will meet those requirements. Experience with the design of precision thermoplastic, stamped metal components and pcbs is desired. The candidate should have good project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
